Ducks Host Western Oregon in Exhibition Contest

EUGENE, Ore. – The Oregon women's basketball team will host Western Oregon in its only exhibition contest on Thursday, with tipoff set for 6 p.m. PT at Matthew Knight Arena.
The Ducks return three regular starters among nine letterwinners from last year's team that reached that second round of the NCAA Tournament. UO also welcomes in three transfers to go with a pair of talented freshmen in guards Sara Barhoum and Janiyah Williams.
Oregon officially begins its season on Monday, Nov. 3 against West Georgia at 6 p.m. PT. Single-game and season tickets are now on sale at GoDucks.com/WBBtix.

Oregon women's basketball is set to embark on its 53rd season, and 12th under head coach Kelly Graves, beginning with an exhibition contest Thursday against Western Oregon at Matthew Knight Arena.
Returning starters include guards Sofia Bell, Elisa Mevius and post Amina Muhammad. Other returners include guards Katie Fiso and Ari Long to go with forwards Ehis Etute, Sarah Rambus, Filippa Tilliander and Sammie Wagner.
The Ducks brought in two senior transfers in Mia Jacobs and Astera Tuhina, along with sophomore Avary Cain from UCLA. Jacobs transferred in from Fresno State, where she led the Mountain West Conference and tied for seventh nationally with 19 double-doubles. Jacobs averaged 18.3 points and 10.0 rebounds a game while shooting 40.8 percent from the field.
