Jesse Williams joined the athletic medicine staff in 2023. Williams is currently responsible for managing the healthcare of the track and field / cross country teams. Prior to his time at Oregon, Jesse served as an Assistant Athletic Trainer with Track & Field/ Cross Country at California State University, Long Beach and an Athletic Trainer at Damien Memorial School in Hawai’i.
Jesse earned his bachelor's degree in athletic training from California State University, Fullerton in 2016. He went on to earn his master’s degree in physical activity from the University of Hawai’i at Manoa in 2020.
Jesse’s professional interests include myofascial manipulation, rehabilitation, and emergency care. He holds additional certifications in instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization, myofascial decompression and compression band flossing. Additionally, Jesse’s professional service opportunities include serving as the California State Representative with the Ethnic Diversity Advisory Committee for FWATA and NATA along with being a committee member on the CATA Equity, Diversity, Inclusion Committee.
A native of Los Angeles, Jesse enjoys skateboarding, exploring museums, collecting art, and spending time with loved ones.
