Finished freshman campaign 2-2 with a 6.39 ERA in 10 11 appearances (10 starts) … Allowed 28 runs (27 earned) on 27 hits in 38 innings while striking out 42 and walking 39 … Held opposing hitters to .209 batting average … Part of the starting rotation for the first eight weeks of the season … Just the 11th Oregon true freshman pitcher in the modern era to be in the weekend rotation to start the season ...
