Made five appearances as a true freshman … Finished 1-0 with a 5.87 ERA while allowing five runs on eight hits in 7.2 innings of work with one strikeout, four walks and one hit batter … Opposing hitters finished with a .296 batting average … Made one appearance in Big Ten Conference games … vs. Toledo (Feb. 15): Made career debut pitching a season-high 3.0 innings in game one of a doubleheader … Allowed a run on two hits with a strikeout and a base on balls … Entered the game in the top of the seventh inning and proceeded to retire the side in order including first career strikeout … Followed with a scoreless eighth before surrendering a run in the ninth … vs. Rhode Island (February 22): Recorded first career win holding the Rams scoreless over two innings while allowing a hit, a walk and a HBP … Combined with Collin Clarke and Cole Stokes for the Ducks’ first shutout of the season in a 1-0, 11-inning, win … Entered a scoreless game in the top of the 10th and retired six of nine batters faced in the 10th and 11th … vs. Columbia (March 1): Tossed a scoreless inning in an 8-3 win in game two of a doubleheader … Entered the game with two outs in the top of the seventh inning and got the lone batter faced to ground out after the Lions had scored three runs … Retired the first two batters in the eighth inning before giving way to fellow reliever Santiago Garcia … vs. Grand Canyon (March 12): Allowed a pair of runs on three hits in 1.2 innings pitched in a 16-6 win … at Maryland (April 13): Made lone Big Ten Conference appearance allowing two runs (1 earned) on two hits.
