Big Ten/SEC Challenge at Missouri

EUGENE, Ore. — As part of the Allstate Big Ten/SEC Challenge Week, the Oregon volleyball team plays Missouri this Tuesday, Sept. 1, at the Hearnes Center in Columbia, Mo. The midweek match will air on the SEC Network at 6 p.m. PT.

The teams have played two neutral-site matches with Oregon leading the brief series history, 2-0, but have not met since 1998 in Minneapolis, Minn.

Milestone Watch
Senior Valentina Vaulet needs just 10 kills to reach 1,000 career kills between her time at Michigan ('23-24) and Oregon. Her next kill will also be her 400^th at Oregon after a career-best 371 kills last season in her first year in Eugene.

Last Time Out | Recap
Oregon hit .412 and had 11 service aces in a four-set road win (Aug. 29) at Southeast Missouri. Vaulet and Alanah Clemente put down 21 and 11 kills, respectively, while libero Reese Sheppard picked up a match-high 15 digs. It was the first-ever meeting between the two programs.

All-Tournament Accolades
The Ducks' trio of Valentina Vaulet (MVP), Marina Crownover and Dalia Virlan earned all-tournament honors at the SEMO Invitational. Vaulet tallied 4.86 points per set while hitting .469 over two matches. Crownover helped direct the UO offense to a .372 hitting percentage and Virlan recorded 15 kills (.480) and four total blocks.

Providing a Spark
Freshman Laura Eichert came off the bench to register eight kills, four digs and a service ace against Southeast Missouri (Aug. 29). She finished the night hitting .700 with those eight kills and one attack error in 10 swings. Seven of her eight kills came in the decisive fourth set.

First Serve
Oregon had 11 service aces in its victory over Southeast Missouri (Aug. 29). Vaulet and Crownover each had four aces while Eichert, Sheppard and Sjakkie Donkers had one apiece. The Ducks finished second in the Big Ten and tied for 18^th nationally with 210 aces last season.

Coming Home
The Ducks host Long Island and Washington State this weekend at Matthew Knight Arena. Oregon will play LIU in Friday's home opener (6 p.m., B1G+) followed by a Sunday matchup with the Cougars. That match will be televised on the Big Ten Network at 12 p.m. LIU and Washington State will play Saturday.

Single-match and season tickets are currently on sale. Oregon will play 13 home matches in the regular season including nine dates against Big Ten opponents.
