ITA Regionals on Deck for Ducks

EUGENE, Ore. – The ITA Northwest Regionals are up next for the Oregon women's tennis team, with the annual event kicking off Thursday at Arrillaga Tennis Center in Stanford, Calif.

Eight Ducks will compete in the regional, with the singles finalists and doubles champions advancing to the NCAAA Fall Championships. Thursday will feature the round of 64 in the doubles main draw as well as the first round of the qualifying draw.

Patsy Daughters, Virginia Crocker, Tilde Jagare and Bridget Mihulka will compete in the singles main draw that begins Friday, while the remaining four athletes will compete in the singles qualifying draw beginning Thursday.

Four UO doubles pairs will compete in the main draw: Hadley Appling/ Mihulka, Montserrat Baruqui/ Daughters, Hinata Furutani/Juliet Santitto and Crocker/Jagare. Crocker and Jagare will begin their doubles tournament on Friday after earning a first-round bye Thursday.
