CARMEL VALLEY, Calif. — The Oregon men's golf team closes out its fall schedule Monday and Tuesday, Oct. 26-27, traveling to Carmel Valley, Calif., for The Preserve Golf Club Collegiate, hosted by Cal Poly.
The Ducks will compete over 54 holes at The Preserve Golf Club, a par-72 course measuring 7,041 yards. The tournament features an 11-team field, including three Big Ten programs, with 36 holes scheduled for Monday and the final 18 holes set for Tuesday.
Oregon will compete in a five-count-four format, with the four lowest scores from each team's five-player lineup counting toward the team total in each round. Adam Anderson, Sebastian Desoisa, Carl-Hugo Eriksson, Ramil Saelim and Tim Chang comprise the Ducks' five-player lineup. Von Gordon will compete as an individual.
The Ducks enter their final fall tournament following back-to-back top-three finishes, including a team victory at the Oregon State Invitational and a third-place finish at the Saint Mary's Invitational. Oregon finished both tournaments at 17-under, marking the first time in its last seven events, dating back to last season, that the Ducks have posted consecutive scores of 17-under or better.
Anderson enters the week following his first collegiate individual victory, earning a share of medalist honors at the Saint Mary's Invitational with a 10-under 206 (69-68-69). Desoisa also continued his strong start to the season, earning his second consecutive top-10 finish with a 6-under performance to tie for 10th.
Oregon returns to The Preserve Golf Club Collegiate for the fifth consecutive year, having competed in every edition since the tournament's inception in 2022. The Ducks have improved their placement from sixth in 2022 to fourth in both 2023 and 2024 before finishing third last season.
Desoisa returns as the defending individual champion after firing a 17-under 199 to claim medalist honors in 2025. Oregon has produced two individual champions in the tournament's four-year history, with Owen Avrit sharing the inaugural title in 2022 at 10-under.
