Men's Tennis Set for ITA Kickoff

Stanford, Calif. — The Oregon men's tennis team heads into a pivotal weekend at the ITA Kickoff Weekend hosted by Stanford. The Ducks will open Friday against Rice at noon and will play either No. 3 Stanford or Utah on Saturday.

Oregon (5-0 overall) faces Rice in Friday's early matchup at Stanford's Arrillaga Tennis Center. The Ducks enter the weekend undefeated and are looking to carry early season momentum into the weekend. Rice enters the match 1-1 with a win over UTRGV and a 5-2 loss to Arkansas.

Saturday's pairings hinge on Friday's results: the winners of Oregon/Rice and Stanford/Utah will meet at noon PT in the winners' bracket, with the victor earning a berth in the ITA National Team Indoor Championships. The losers will square off at 9 a.m. PT in the consolation draw.
