Pair of in-state road matches starting Thursday at Oregon State
EUGENE, Ore. – The Oregon volleyball team closes out non-conference play this week, beginning with Thursday's road match at Oregon State. First serve is scheduled for 6 p.m. in Corvallis. A second in-state road match awaits Friday at Portland State. Both will stream on ESPN+.

Series History vs Oregon State
Oregon has won 33 of the past 37 meetings in the series including 10 straight against the Beavers. The Ducks are 29-27 on Oregon State's home floor, and hold an 87-44-1 advantage in the all-time series.

Dating back to 2004, Oregon has won 14 of the past 15 meetings with Portland State including last year's straight-set win on the Vikings' home floor. Despite the recent UO dominance, Portland State leads the all-time series, 39-27-1.

Over three matches in Long Beach last weekend, grad transfer Sophia Meyers accounted for 3.42 kills per set. She finished the weekend in the Pyramid with 41 kills and just four attack errors on 94 swings, good for a .394 hitting percentage. Meyers also tallied 18 digs and eight blocks.
Blocking is Fun
Sophomore Iva Sucurovic leads the Big Ten and is 13th in the NCAA with 1.55 blocks per set. She also enters the week leading the league with 48.0 total blocks. Sucurovic has seven or more blocks in five matches this year including a season-high 12.0 total blocks in a straight-set road win at Montana State.
Service Pressure
Eleven different Oregon players have at least one service ace through the team's first eight matches. Valentina Vaulet has a team-high 16 aces, pacing a list of seven Ducks with four or more service winners. Kamden Mitchell has six aces followed by Alanah Clemente, Maria Tabacuks and Cora Taylor with five each.
Steady Hand
Junior Valentina Vaulet leads Oregon with 108 kills (3.48 k/s) and is hitting .270 entering the final week of non-conference play. She has 10 or more kills in seven of eight matches. Vaulet also leads the team with 16 aces, posting at least one ace in every match this season.
Offensively Efficient
Oregon is hitting .269 this season with three matches at .300 or better. The Ducks registered a season-high .321 hitting percentage in a four-set win over Prairie View A&M (Aug. 30). In its last outing, Oregon hit .283 against UC Riverside highlighted by a .441 clip in the close-out fourth set.
Coming in Clutch
Playing in its first five setter of the season, Oregon responded by hitting .600 (13-1-20) in the fifth against Colorado State (Sept. 6). Maria Tabacuks, Ksenija Tomic and Valentina Vaulet each had four kills in the frame. The Ducks jumped out to an early 4-0 lead and was ahead 8-3 at the side switch.
Milestone Watch: 1,000 Wins
The Ducks' five-set home victory over Colorado State (Sept. 6) doubled as the 1,000th win in program history. Oregon won the first two sets and held off the Rams in five sets. The team never trailed in the fifth set.
