Ducks Primed for NCAA Auburn Regional
05/10/25 | Men's Golf
EUGENE, Ore. – The Oregon men's golf team will make its 18th-consecutive NCAA Regional appearance under head coach Casey Martin next week when it tees off at the Auburn Regional starting Monday.
The sixth-seeded Ducks will play 18 holes of golf at the Auburn University Club on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. The top five teams from each of the six regional sites, along with the top six individuals not on qualifying teams, will advance to the national championships at Omni La Costa Resort and Spa in Carlsbad, Calif., from May 23-28.
While never having played at the par-72, 7,326-yard course before, Oregon is not unfamiliar with having to travel to the southeast for the regional round, as UO was the three seed at the Baton Rouge regional a season ago where Greyson Leach, Aiden Krafft and Eric Doyle were all in the lineup.
The Ducks are looking to make their third appearance at the NCAA Championships in the last four seasons. Oregon has made the championships 35 times in program history, winning the 2016 national title and finishing as runner-up in 2017.
The Ducks finished fourth in their Big Ten Championships debut last time out, combining for a 15-over 855. Greyson Leach matched his best result of the season, placing second individually with a 4-under 206. It marked the best finish at a championship meet by a Duck since Wyndham Clark medaled at the 2017 Pac-12 Championships. Jay Gould-Healy added his top result of the season, finishing even par to place tied for seventh.
