
Ducks Earn 19th Straight Regional Bid

EUGENE, Ore. – The Oregon men's golf team has earned the No. 11 seed at the NCAA Columbus Regional, it was announced Wednesday.Â

The tournament will be played at the OSU Golf Club, from May 18-20 on the Scarlet Course. Originally constructed in 1938 and later renovated in 2005-06 with oversight from Jack Nicklaus, the Scarlet course plays just over 7400 yards as a par-71.Â
Florida takes the top seed in the regional, followed by Arizona State and Stanford. Long Beach State and FSU round out the top five seeds.Â

The Ducks will be making their 19th-consecutive postseason appearance and 32nd overall regional berth.  UO aims to return to the NCAA Championships for the third time in the last five years and the 13th time under head coach Casey Martin.Â

The low five teams and low individual not on an advancing team will move on from each regional to the national championship at Omni La Costa Resort & Spa in Carlsbad, Calif., from May 29-June 3Â
