EUGENE, Ore. - Oregon men's tennis dropped a heart breaker to Nebraska on Sunday, falling 4-3 in the Student Tennis Center.

The Ducks got out to an early lead after grinding out a big doubles point. After Cooper Errey and Lachlan Robertson fell 6-3 on court two, UO would need both of the remaining doubles matches to go in their favor. Vlad Breazu and Clement Lemire evened things up with a 7-5 win. Lenn Luemkemann and Matthew Burton gave Oregon the lead after an hour-long 7-6 (8-6) victory on court one.

With a 1-0 lead, Oregon would need just three points to secure a win. Court one went to Nebraska in straight sets, before Vlad Breazu regained the lead after defeating Anton Shepp 7-5, 6-4 on court two. Lemire swept Nikolay Sysoev 7-6 (11-9), 6-4 and UO was in command 3-1.

The remaining three points all went to Nebraska, with Cornhusker victories on courts four, six and the clincher coming in a three-set loss for Robertson on court five.
