The Ducks (9-2) head to Illinois for a pair of matches this weekend to kick off Big Ten play. After a dominating 6-1 win over UNC Wilmington last Sunday, the Ducks look to extend their three-game win streak.
Illinois (9-3) sits at No. 11 in the ITA rankings, boasting three top-ten wins this season over No. 7 Mississippi State, No. 8 Baylor, and No. 6 TCU. Oregon has faced Illinois twice before, recording one win and one loss. The Ducks look to take the lead in the all-time series record and avenge their 1-4 loss last spring during the Big Ten tournament.
Oregon has met Northwestern (11-3) four times in its history and is tied with a 2-2 record. Their first meeting, a Duck loss, occurred during the 2004-05 season, and Oregon's other loss came from a close 3-4 match in 2022. Since then, Oregon has won the last two matches against Northwestern, a 4-0 sweep in 2024 and a similarly convincing 4-1 win last spring. The Ducks look to extend their winning streak against the Wildcats this weekend.
