
Women’s DMR Caps Successful Day One in Arkansas

The Ducks collected six top-10 program performances Friday at the Randal Tyson Track Center.
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The Oregon track and field team showed out on the first day of the Razorback Invitational with six top-10 program performances and a victory from the women's distance medley relay.
Ali Ince, Ella Clayton, Ella Nelson and Silan Ayyildiz combined for a time of 10:48.45, the second fastest in UO history. The effort comes in behind the school and meet record of 10:47.50 posted last season by Clayton, Nelson, Klaudia Kazimierska and Maddy Elmore. Friday's finish was a top-10 performance in collegiate history and marked the third time an Oregon team ran below 10:49.
Gianna Bullock secured a second-place finish in the pentathlon, surpassing 4,000 points for the first time in her career. With personal bests in the high jump and 800 meters, Bullock's 4,089 points put her No. 5 in program history.
Matthew Erickson (1:47.10) and Rheinhardt Harrison (1:48.10) finished fourth and 12th, respectively, in the 800 meters. Erickson now stands as the No. 5 performer in Oregon history while Harrison checks in ninth on the UO all-time list.
Jadyn Mays came in second for her first 200-meter race this season, stopping the clock at 22.91. In the women's pole vault, Emily Fitzsimmons reached an indoor best of 4.15m/13-7.25 with Isabella Nilsen posting an identical clearance.
Kyle Gibbs extended his personal best in the men's pole vault with a third-place finish at 5.40m/17-8.5, solidifying his spot at No. 6 on the UO all-time indoor list.
Friday marked the start of the first heptathlon of the season for the Ducks' trio of Koby Kessler, Aiden Carter and Arthur Katahdin. Kessler leads the group—in fourth overall—earning 3,077 points through four events. Carter and Katahdin tallied 3,042 and 2,656 points, respectively.
The Razorback Invitational continues Saturday morning with qualifying heats of the 60 meters at 8:20 a.m. (PT). The heptathlon resumes at 9 a.m. with the 60-meter hurdles, the fifth event of the two-day competition. The SEC Network+ broadcast will also begin at that time.
