
Ducks Face Loaded Field in Arkansas

The two-day Razorback Invitational begins Friday at 9:45 a.m. (PT) with the combined events.
EUGENE, Ore. – The Oregon track and field team heads to Fayetteville, Ark., this weekend for the two-day Razorback Invitational at the Randal Tyson Track Center. The SEC Network+ broadcast begins each day with the start of the running events.
The Razorback Invitational begins Friday at 9:45 a.m. (PT) with the combined events, starting with the heptathlon 60 meters followed by the pentathlon 60-meter hurdles. Senior Gianna Bullock enters her first pentathlon of the season with a lifetime-best score of 3,978 points, good for sixth on the Oregon top-10 list.

Along with the Ducks and host Arkansas, the field of competition also includes Florida, Georgia, Iowa State, Kentucky, LSU, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Ole Miss, Tennessee, Texas and Utah.
Friday evening's track slate will feature the 200 meters, 800 meters and distance medley relay. At last year's Razorback Invitational, the Women of Oregon ran 10:47.50 to break the school record and post, what is now, the No. 6 performance in collegiate history. The DMR will close out Friday's competition, set for a 5:25 p.m. (PT) start.
Oregon top-10 indoor performers Jadyn Mays (UO #2) and Matthew Erickson (UO #7) will be in action Friday in the 200 and 800, respectively.
Coming off victories at the Graduate Classic two weeks ago, Kyle Gibbs and Isabella Nilsen are entered for Friday's pole vault. Gibbs, Nilsen and Emily Fitzsimmons all registered top-10 program clearances in their season opener in Nebraska.
Friday's slate of field events also includes the high jump and long jump.
Oregon carries seven top-20 national times and measures into the Razorback Invitational including top-10 marks from Wilma Nielsen (4:25.89) and Ali Ince (4:32.96) in the mile, Silan Ayyildiz (8:46.33) in the 3,000 meters and Ryan Porter (13.36m/43-10) in the triple jump. Nielsen goes into the weekend as the NCAA leader, and as the reigning USTFCCCA National Athlete of the Week.
At the end of the qualifying window in early March, the top 16 declared athletes in each event and top 12 relays will advance to the 2025 NCAA Indoor Championships (March 14-15) in Virginia Beach.
