The Golden Bears and Cardinal will be sixth and seventh ranked opponents Oregon will face in conference action, as 10 of the 11 Pac-12 schools are in the ITA's top 75. All eight of the Ducks' losses have come to teams currently ranked in the nation's top 75.
Jo-Yee Chan, Uxia Martinez Moral and Young lead the Ducks with 11 singles victories apiece this spring, with Martinez Moral winning five of her last six outings. Freshman Candela Aparisi has put together a five-match winning streak and has won seven of her last nine matches overall. Young has won three of her last four matches after going 2-0 against the Washington schools over the weekend.
On the double side, Oregon has clinched the doubles point in 11 of 18 matches this season after clinching the doubles point against WSU. Chan and Sophie Luescher picked up a win against Washington State at the top spot on Sunday while Nina Geissler and Young helped earn the doubles point with their win at third doubles.
California has won 10 of its last 12 contests and enters the weekend ranked 10th in the ITA's latest rankings, featuring a singles lineup with four players in the nation's top 75. Hannah Viller Moeller checks in at a team-best No. 44 singles ranking, followed by Valentina Ivanov (No. 47), Katya Wiersholm (No. 65) and Jessica Alsola (No. 74).
The Bears' tandem of Viller Moeller and Mao Mushika check at No. 22 in the latest doubles rankings.
Stanford marks the highest-ranked opponent the Ducks will face since meeting defending champ and then-top-ranked North Carolina back in January. The Cardinal suffered their second loss of the season in their last match to 17th-ranked UCLA, 4-3.
Stanford's roster also boasts four ranked singles players, headlined by ninth-ranked Connie Ma, while No. 33 Alexandra Yepifanova, No. 37 Angelica Blake and No. 122 Valencia Xu round out the quartet. Ma and Yepifanova make up the nation's 32nd-ranked doubles pair.
The Ducks are 0-24 all-time against Cal and 1-28 against Stanford, picking up their first-ever win against the Cardinal at home in 2021.
