NAPA, Calif. - Kathleen Scavo finished fourth on the individual leaderboard as the Ducks also placed fourth at the Silverado Showdown at the Silverado Resort and Spa.
The No. 24 ranked Ducks finished ahead of No. 9 UCLA and No. 25 Washington. UO shot a 20-over 884 (297-296-291) for the tournament. No. 16 ranked Northwestern won with a 6-over 870.
The Ducks have finished in the top-5 in four of the five tournaments they've played this spring, including back-to-back second place showings at the Bruin Wave Invitational and the PING/ASU Invite.
Scavo used a 2-under second round on Monday to climb into seventh and then shot even par in Tuesday's third and final round to tie for fourth, her first top-5 finish of the season and her fourth top-10.
Scavo's third round started at No. 4. She double bogeyed No. 6 and was one over on No. 5. But she used three birdies on the back nine to get back even. Her third round 72 was the third best round among the top-10 finishers. Scavo shot a 1-over 217 (75-70-72) for the tournament as Northwestern's Brooke Riley won with a 1-under 215.
Fellow senior Petra Salko was just outside the top-10, tied for 11th with 5-over 221 (71-77-73). She had a hole out for eagle on No. 4 but three back nine bogeys had her at 1-over 73 in her third round.
Amy Matsuoka climbed 14 spots up to 23rd with an even par 72 on Tuesday. She had three birdies and three bogeys in her final round, her best of the tournament (75-77-72).
Alexis Phadungmartvorakul tied for 46th after shooting a 12-over 228 (76-78-74) while freshman Tze-Han Lin took 71st with a 19-over 235 (80-72-83).
The Ducks were 3-under on par-3s for the tournament, the best of the 18 teams participating. Salko was 4-under on par-3s while Scavo was 3-under, ranking first and third among individuals.
Up next for the Ducks is the Pac-12 Championships, which takes place April 15-17 in Palos Verdes, Calif.
