
Women's Golf Takes Seventh at Pac-12 Championships

PALOS VERDES ESTATES, Calif. - The Oregon women's golf team wrapped up the 2019 Pac-12 Championships in seventh place on Wednesday at the Palos Verdes Golf Club.
The No. 21 ranked Ducks finished the tournament with a 45-over par 897 (292-307-298). Host and No. 1 ranked USC won at 1-under for the tournament.
Individually, Oregon was led by Amy Matsuoka, who tied for 24th at 10-over (75-75-73, 223). She shot a 2-over 73 on Wednesday in her final round.
Senior Kathleen Scavo tied for 30th at 12-over (71-77-77, 225) and fellow senior Petra Salko was just behind her, tied for 36th at 13-over (73-78-75, 226).
Freshman Tze-Han Lin and Alexis Phadungmartvorakul tied for 43rd at 17-over.
Up next for the Ducks is the NCAA selection show on April 24 (2:30 PM PT, Golf Channel) and NCAA regionals, which run from Monday, May 6 to Wednesday, May 8. Regional host sites are Auburn, Washington, Michigan State and Oklahoma.
