Ducks Back on the Court to host LMU

EUGENE, Ore. – The University of Oregon men's tennis team returns to action Sunday to close out a six-match home stand. First serve against Loyola Marymount is scheduled for 11 a.m. (PT) at the Student Tennis Center. Sunday's match will be the Ducks' first in more than a week having last played Feb. 9 with a win over Louisville.
Oregon enters the match with an 8-1 overall record and a 7-0 mark at home. Loyola Marymount carries a 1-3 record so far this season.

The No. 42 team of Charles Roberts and Armando Soemarno rattled off the final three games in a 7-5 win on court one to secure the doubles point, and the Ducks went on to win five of six singles matches in a 6-1 victory (Feb. 9) over Louisville. With wins at the No. 1 and 4 spots by Thomas Laurent and Riki Oshima, respectively, Roberts clinched the team win with a three-set win on court six.
In the Rankings
Oregon features a pair of ranked singles players in Laurent (No. 3) and sophomore Emmanuel Coste (80) in its lineup while Roberts and Soermarno headline a trio of ranked doubles teams. For LMU, senior Lukas Moenter is the No. 124 player in the ITA rankings. The next set of team and players rankings will be announced Feb. 19.
