
Ducks Sweep Past Bulldogs in Volleyball

FRESNO, Calif. ? The University of Oregon Volleyball team won for the ninth time in ten matches this season, dismantling Fresno State, 3-0, on Friday night.
The Ducks (9-1, 0-0 Pac-10) hit over .500 in two of their three wins, including .525 in the deciding game. The Bulldogs (2-7, 0-0 WAC) kept things close early, falling 30-28 and 31-29 in the first two sets, but Oregon ripped off a 30-19 win in Game 3.
Freshman Mira Djuric had a match-high 18 kills while hitting a career-best .394. In fact, all six Ducks with at least ten attempts hit better than .350.
Senior Kelly Russell had a double-double with 11 kills and a season-high 16 digs. Junior Erin Little had ten kills and a .500 attack percentage, while fellow junior Kristen Bitter put 12 balls on the floor and hit at a .417 clip.
Freshman libero Katie Swoboda led all players with 17 digs.
