The Trojans (8-3, 2-0), who came in shooting less than 40 percent as a team, shot 48.6 percent for the contest and limited Oregon (8-3, 0-2) to 31.3 percent.
Leading USC's offensive attack was junior guard Shay Murphy, who scored 17 points. Sophomore guard Camille LeNoir had 11 points ? all in the first half - and junior guard Jamie Hagiya added 12.
For the Ducks (8-3, 0-2), sophomore center Gabrielle Richards had 14 poiints on 6-of-11 shooting. Junior guard Cicely Oaks had six points and six rebounds, and junior forward Jessie Shetters came off the bench to score five points and grab a team-high eight boards.
USC wasted little time taking command of the game and led 41-17 at the half. The Trojans shot 51.6 in the opening frame, while limiting the Ducks to 26.3 percent and forcing 14 turnovers. UO was not credited with a single assist in the first half.
