
Ducks Fall in Three to No. 17 USC

The Women of Troy (7-6, 3-2 Pac-10) forced Oregon (10-7, 0-6) into 21 hitting errors in the first two games as the Ducks hit .000 in each game.
UO Freshman libero Katie Swoboda was a bright spot for the Ducks, leading all players with 24 digs.
Senior Kelly Russell had a team-high 11 kills, and junior Kristen Bitter was the most efficient Duck attacker with nine kills and a .316 (9-3-19) hitting percentage.
USC senior Staci Venski had a match-high 14 kills and .344 (14-3-32) hitting percentage.
Bibiana Candelas had 11 kills for USC while libero Debora Seilhamer added 19 digs. Kelly Russell led the Ducks with 11 kills on the evening.
After facing five ranked opponents in a row, the Ducks will travel to unranked Oregon State on Friday, Oct. 14.
