A 5-4 Duck lead didn't last long as the Cardinal controlled the tempo for most of game two. A 9-2 run gave Stanford a 13-7 advantage. Oregon tied the game at 17-17, but a 6-0 run put the Cardinal in front to stay. The lead was built to eight points at 29-21, and a kill by freshman Foluke Akinradewo gave Stanford a 30-23 game two win.
Again, the Ducks took the early lead in game three at 5-3. Stanford tied the match at 9-9, and then went on a 10-0 run to seal Oregon's fate. Two attack errors by Oregon gave Stanford its 29th and 30th points of game three (30-20) and the match.
