HIGH SCHOOL
A 2008 graduate of Bishop Gorman High School in Las Vegas, Nev...a combo guard, played four seasons for head coach Sheryl Krmpotich...during the last three seasons of her high school career, helped the Gaels capture three class 4A state titles...was named a Preseason All-American honorable mention by Sporting News entering her senior season...scored 16 points and added six assists and two steals in the 65-48 state title win over Reno HS in 2008...also averaged 11.3 points, 5.3 assists and 3.5 steals per game as a senior, and was named first team all-Sunset league and first team all-state...against Western HS had 10 points 10 assists and 10 steals for her first triple-double...during her junior year, averaged 14.9 points, 4.2 rebounds and 5.4 assists per game leading Bishop Gorman to a 31-2 record and an undefeated league record...in 2006, was a Street & Smith All-American honorable mention...had a three-star rating from HoopGurlz.com.

Played six years for the Las Vegas Lady Ice, coached by Willie Hicks...four other teammates also play collegiately; Lindy LaRocque (Stanford), Chelsea Hopkins (Duke), Ayoola Weaver (Central Arizona) and Raven Hicks (Alabama State).

Born March 3, 1990...parents are Darryl and Kena Gaynor...has one brother, Darryl (11) and one sister, Sequoia Holmes (22), who currently plays for the Houston Comets of the WNBA after a successful collegiate career at UNLV...Darriel is majoring in kinesiology.
