Bio
High School ? Lettered four years in softball and one year in track while at Thurston high school. Named third-team all-state as a senior and was also a second-team all-league honoree. Played guard in basketball and tallied a career-best 12 points as a senior. Although Thurston fell to Tualatin in the first game of the 2004 Class 4A State Championships, Rascon accounted for one of the two hits that Thurston managed. Earned honorable mention all-state accolades as a junior in 2003
