Posted a 7-2 doubles record playing with Charles Roberts in the No. 2 spot during dual play … had a 6-4 win over Dostanic/Holt of USC … duo opened the dual season with three-consecutive wins … finished the year with a 13-3 record in singles play … won four of five decisions at No. 6 singles in dual play … posted a straight-set win over Jordan Coutinho of South Alabama during the ITA Kick-Off Weekend … FALL: singles champion of the ‘B’ flight at the UCSB Classic … registered a 7-6(4), 6-3 win over Fernando Fonseca of Cal Poly in the UCSB final … advanced to the doubles final of the UCSB event with Luke Vandecasteele … posted three singles wins at the Duck Invitational … also advanced to the semifinals of the doubles draw with Emmanuel Coste.
Before Oregon
Lam began his collegiate career at Indiana where he reached No. 39 in the ITA doubles rankings in April 2019. He and doubles partner Carson Haskins collected a pair of top-30 wins that season including a victory over the No. 6-ranked duo of Bjorn Thomson and Parker Wynn of Texas Tech. Overall, Lam led IU with 14 wins in doubles play during the 2018-19 season including eight at the No. 1 spot and three over ranked opponents. He also posted a 22-19 record in singles play in his two seasons with the Hoosiers. Lam was a five-star recruite out of Westlake HS and ranked as high as the No. 17 prep player by TennisRecruiting.
