2015 (Senior): Posted a 3-5 overall record while competing at the top two spots … recorded a 2-2 record with Shellsy Ashen and the duo was 2-1 at No. 2 which included wins over California’s Bryce Bark/Emily Shults and Cal Poly’s Nicole Kessler/Caihla Petiprin … picked up a crucial 21-9, 21-10 victory with Maggie Scott over Oregon State’s Rachel Buehner/Lila Toner, helping the Ducks win 3-2 in the Civil War rivalry match.
2014 (Junior): A member of the inaugural beach volleyball team, she posted a 3-8 overall record, playing a majority of her matches at the No. 2 spot … ended the season on a three-match winning streak as she and Shellsy Ashen won in straight sets in all three matches … defeated Washington’s Melanie Wade and Katy Beals 21-13, 21-15, helping Oregon win the match … beat Boise State tandem Casey Rose and Kaitlyn Oliver 21-16, 21-14 and then closed out the season with a 21-5, 21-15 victory over Portland State’s Cara Olden and Leigh Ann Haataja.
Indoor: A four-year letter winner on the Oregon indoor team, Brenner became the school’s seventh AVCA All-American when she was tabbed with second-team honors in both 2012 as a sophomore and 2013 as a junior … was an All-Pac 12 honoree as well as All-Pacific North Region in 2013 when she finished the season ranked ninth nationally and first among Pac-12 players in kills per set with 4.67 … garnered All-Pac 12 honors again as a senior in 2014.
Other: A truly gifted athlete, Brenner has participated in five sports during her tenure at Oregon … in addition to being a member of the volleyball and beach volleyball teams, she has played basketball, softball and participated in track and field … as a freshman in 2011, she became the school’s first three-sport female athlete since Peg Rees (1974-76).
Before Oregon: She was named the Oregon Volleyball Player of the Year in back-to-back years, the first player to do that since 2003-04 … she was a three-time all-state first team choice and led Jesuit high school to the state championship game three years in a row from 2008-10 … the team won the state title her sophomore year, capping off a perfect 19-0 season … she was also tabbed the state’s 6A Basketball Player of the Year after she led her team to the state title in 2011 … in track and field, she added Oregon Prep Athlete of the Year laurels when she picked up first-team all-state honors in the javelin and shot put.
