Ducks Tied For Third With 18 Holes To Go

NAPA, Calif. – The Oregon women's golf team will enter the final round of the Chevron Silverado Showdown in a tie for third place after shooting a 6-over 294 in Tuesday's second round at Silverado Country Club and Resort.
The No. 5 Ducks are tied with Nebraska for third at 10 over, with No. 2 USC leading the field at 17 under and Eastern Michigan in second at 12 under. Cincinnati and UC Davis are three strokes behind Oregon and Nebraska in a tie for fifth at 13 over.
Oregon will look to close its 2025-26 regular season on a high note in Wednesday's final round while also aiming to extend its streak of consecutive top-five finish to 21 tournaments.
How it Happened: The five players in Oregon's lineup all finished within a stroke of each other on Tuesday, with sophomore Tong An and freshman Sophie Han each shooting a 1-over 73 to lead the way. Junior Darae Chung, sophomore Annika Ishiyama and freshman Sophie Han all came in with a 2-over 74 to round out the counting scores.
Redshirt senior Yvonne Vinceri, competing this week as an individual, provided the highlight of the day with a hole-in-one on the 151-yard 15th hole. It is the first ace by a Duck this season.
Han was 2 over through seven holes before shooting 1under the rest of the way, making a birdie at No. 9 and then nine pars on the back nine. An made two birdies on the front to make the turn at even par before shooting 1 over on the back.
Chung and Singh each made three birdies en route to a 74, while Ishiyama buckled down to finish 2 under across her final 10 holes after a 4-over start through eight.
