Split Weekends Features Meets in Three States

The Men of Oregon enter the weekend ranked No. 3 in the nation.
EUGENE, Ore. – It's a split weekend for the Oregon track and field team with meet entries across three states beginning Friday with the distance crew in Boston for the BU Valentine Invitational and Harvard Crimson Open. The Ducks' sprints, jumps and multis crews are in Albuquerque, N.M., for the Don Kirby Invitational while UO throws will be represented at the Jarvis Scott Invitational in Lubbock, Texas.
Day one of the BU Valentine meet will feature the men's team while the UO women are scheduled for the distance medley relay (1 p.m. PT, ESPN+) across town at Harvard. The BU Valentine and Don Kirby meets will be streamed live on FloTrack.
The Men of Oregon hold steady at No. 3 in this week's USTFCCCA release with the UO women checking in at No. 8 nationally.

The Ducks carry 11 top-10 national marks—seven men, four women—into the split weekend including NCAA leaders by Wilma Nielsen in the mile and Peyton Bair in the heptathlon. Along with the DMR set for Friday at Harvard, Nielsen is entered in Saturday's 800 meters at the BU meet. Bair is entered in the invitational section of the 60 meters in New Mexico.
