CORVALLIS, Ore. — The Oregon men's golf team claims the Oregon State Invitational championship after a clutch performance in round three on Tuesday.
The Ducks went into round three tied for second, just one stroke behind Eastern Washington. Oregon stayed the course and gained four strokes in their final four holes collectively for a 7-under round three and 17-under tournament finish, a comfortable five strokes ahead of second place Boise State. A surging Boise State and Oregon traded turns at the top throughout the final day, but Oregon kept their foot on the gas. All four players with counting scores combined to shoot a 8-under across their final nine holes. Boise State, Eastern Washington, Oregon State and Utah State rounded out the top five, respectively.
It is the Ducks' first tournament win since they won back-to-back in March of 2025 at the Bandon Dunes Championship and the Duck Invitational.

"It was a great win for us. The guys battled and made some clutch birdies down the stretch. I'm super proud of them," head coach Casey Martin said. "We knew we needed to play well without Seb (Sebastian Desoisa), who is competing on the DP World Tour this week in Spain, and the guys stepped up."
