
Oregon One Back Entering Tuesday’s Final Round

CORVALLIS, Ore. — The Oregon men's golf team sits tied for second at 10 under through two rounds of the Oregon State Invitational on Monday at Trysting Tree Golf Club, just one stroke off the lead.
The Ducks opened with a 4-under 280 before improving by two strokes with a 6-under 278 in the afternoon. Four of Oregon's five players in the lineup sit under par through 36 holes, led by Tim Chang in a tie for seventh at 4 under.
Chang posted a pair of under-par rounds Monday, opening with a 3-under 68 before adding a 1-under 70 in the afternoon. The junior recorded seven birdies across his first 36 holes.
Ramil Saelim is one shot behind Chang and tied for 12th at 3 under. Saelim carded rounds of 69 and 70, while Adam Anderson is tied for 17th at 2 under following rounds of 71 and 69 in his first appearance as a Duck.
Freshman Carl-Hugo Eriksson followed a 1-over 72 in the opening round with a 2-under 69 to move into a tie for 24th at 1 under. Jeffrey Kwak rounds out Oregon's five-player lineup in a tie for 40th at 2 over after matching rounds of 72.
Oregon's four individuals were led by freshman Von Gordon, who surged into a tie for second at 7 under in his collegiate debut. Gordon followed an even-par 71 with a 7-under 64 in the second round, carding eight birdies to climb 23 spots on the leaderboard.
Teddy Vigna joins Chang in a tie for seventh at 4 under after rounds of 70 and 68, while freshman Logan Park is tied for 24th at 1 under in his collegiate debut after shooting 71 and 70. Oscar Lent sits tied for 57th at 5 over following rounds of 73 and 74.
How It Happened
Chang opened with a 3-under 68, making five birdies in the first round. The junior made the turn at 1 under before adding birdies on the 10th, 11th and 13th holes. He followed with a 1-under 70 in the afternoon, making three birdies to finish the day tied for seventh at 4 under.
Saelim used a strong finish to shoot a 2-under 69 in the opening round. After making the turn at 1 over, the junior made three straight birdies on the 14th, 15th and 16th holes. He followed with a 1-under 70 in round two to finish the day tied for 12th at 3 under.
Anderson made his Oregon debut with an even-par 71 in the opening round before shooting a 2-under 69 in the afternoon. The Oklahoma transfer made four birdies over his first eight holes in round two, including three straight to open the round. Anderson finished the day tied for 17th at 2 under.
Eriksson responded to a 1-over 72 in the opening round with a 2-under 69 in round two. The freshman made birdies on the ninth and 18th holes and went bogey-free in the afternoon to move into a tie for 24th at 1 under.
Kwak shot a 1-over 72 in the opening round, highlighted by an eagle on the par-5 16th hole. The senior carded another 72 in the afternoon, making birdies on the 10th and 14th holes to finish the day tied for 40th at 2 over.
Gordon opened his collegiate debut with an even-par 71 before firing a 7-under 64 in the second round. Competing as an individual, the freshman made birdies on each of his first four holes and added another on the eighth. He added three birdies on the back nine to finish with eight in the round and climb 23 spots into a tie for second at 7 under.
Vigna opened with a 1-under 70 before shooting a 3-under 68 in the afternoon. After making the turn at even par in round two, he made birdies on the 10th, 13th and 16th holes to finish tied for seventh at 4 under.
Park followed an even-par 71 in his collegiate debut with a bogey-free, 1-under 70 in the second round. The freshman made a birdie on the fifth hole and 17 pars to finish the day tied for 24th at 1 under.
Lent shot a 2-over 73 in the opening round before carding a 3-over 74 in the afternoon. He finished Monday tied for 57th at 5 over.

Notable
Von Gordon's second-round 7-under 64 is tied for the 14th-lowest round in program history. Gordon joins Sebastian Desoisa, who fired an 8-under 64 as a freshman in the opening round of the Cal Poly Invitational last season.
Teddy Vigna matched his career low with a 1-under 70 in the opening round before setting a new career low with a 3-under 68 in round two. The two rounds marked the third and fourth below-par rounds of his career, while his second-round 68 was his first career round in the 60s.
Adam Anderson tied his career low with a 2-under 69 in the second round, marking the second round in the 60s of his collegiate career.
Jeffrey Kwak recorded an eagle on the 16th hole in the opening round, the ninth eagle of his career and his first of the 2026-27 season.
Tim Chang's opening-round 68 marked his first round in the 60s since the Amer Ari Invitational last season.
