09/23/25 | Men's Golf
SAMMAMISH, Wash. – Oregon freshman Oscar Lent earned a share of the three-way co-championship at The Tindall Individual Tournament.
Lent went low in his collegiate debut for a 9-under 207 first place finish alongside Grand Canyon's Erik Rengardt and Seattle's Conrad Chisman. Lent led the efforts of four Ducks competing in the individual tournament, which took place on the Cascade Course of the Gold Mountain Golf Club.
The rest of the Oregon lineup simultaneously concluded the team competition on the Olympic Course in a tie for 10th place. No. 17 BYU took home the team title, led by Peter Kim who shared a co-championship with Utah's Gabriel Palacios.
Aiden Krafft and Jeffrey Kwak led efforts in the team tournament sharing a tie for 33rd, while freshman Sebastian Desoisa joined them in the top-50.
How It Happened
Lent opened with a 1-over 73 in round one but was able to find a rhythm and finished round two 3-under with five birdies. The freshman had a stellar third round carding a low 7-under 65 to position himself for the individual tournament title.
Also on the individual circuit, Casper Nerpin was able to level his scorecard after shooting over in rounds one and two. Entering the day 5-over between the rounds, the senior transfer finished with a 3-under 69 in his best round at Oregon.
Rounding out the Ducks on the Cascade Course, Ramil Saelim went 79-76 in the first two rounds. Saelim carded a career-low 8-under 64 with nine birdies, eight pars and just one bogey in the third round to finish 3-over for the tournament. Hugh Adams was Oregon's fourth individual, competing in his first tournament of the season and shooting 78-77-76.
On the Olympic Course, Krafft and Kwak finished 1-over 73 in the third round, and 1-over 217 for the tournament. Each ended the day even yesterday and tied for first in par-3 scoring average at 3.02. Kwak carded his second eagle of the tournament to finish even on the back nine.
Jay Gould-Healy entered the day just a stroke above par and was even through seven holes in the third round. A double bogey on the ninth hole set him one over, and he finished 4-over 220 after shooting 74-71-75 in the tournament.
