Top-Seeded Ducks Ready for Big Ten Tournament

THIS WEEK
No. 4 Oregon will be the top seed for the 2025 Big Ten Tournament, hosted by Purdue. The Ducks open play in the quarterfinals Thursday at 1:30 PM PT versus the winner of Wednesday's game between Michigan and Wisconsin.
BIG TEN CHAMPS
Oregon took two-of-three from Michigan State the last week of league play to win the 2025 regular season Big Ten title. It is Oregon's seventh conference softball championship in school history (1 Big Ten - 2025; 5 Pac-12 - 2013-16, 2018; 1 NWSCA - 1976).
BIG TEN TROPHIES
The Softball crown was Oregon's sixth Big Ten title of the academic year: Football, Women's XC, Men's and Women's Indoor Track & Field and Women's Golf. Only Ohio State has more (7).
NUMBERS THAT TELL THE STORY
47-6 - Oregon's 47-6 record is tied for the program's best ever through 53 games.
37 - Oregon is 37-0 when it hits a home run in a game, but 10-6 when it doesn't.
15- Teams in the Top 25 with 15 road wins: Oregon, Oklahoma, Florida, FSU, Duke.
10 - Oregon is the only team in the NCAA ranked in the top 10 in scoring, ERA and fielding.

The Ducks are the only team in the nation ranked in the national top 10 in scoring, ERA and fielding. Oregon is third in scoring (7.98 runs per game), eighth in ERA (2.21) and fourth in fielding percentage (.982).
TWO STOLEN BASE RECORDS FALL
Two program season stolen base records have fallen this season. The Ducks now have 156 steals as a team (previous record: 126, 2007). Kai Luschar now has 53 stolen bases (previous record: 41 by Suzie Barnes, 2007). Luschar is second on the Big Ten single-season list, six out of first. As a team, the Ducks are third on the Big Ten top 10 list. Luschar has 101 career steals and is second all time at Oregon. She needs two more steals to break the school record of 102 by Janie Takeda (2012-15).

The Ducks are 14th nationally in home runs with 74 and eighth nationally in RBI (376).
LEADERS OF THE PACK
The Ducks rank in the Big Ten's top five in 12 different offensive categories. Oregon is pacing the league in steals, steals per game and sacrifice flies. The Ducks are second in triples, third in batting average, RBI and scoring, and fourth in hits, home runs, on-base percentage and walks.
SISTER ACT
Starting outfielders Kai Luschar (LF) and Kedre Luschar (CF) have combined for 138 hits, 104 runs and 78 stolen bases. Kedre leads the team in doubles (14) and batting average (.467). Kai leads the NCAA with a program-record 53 steals. Both are seniors, though Kai, a fifth-year senior, is a year older.
KEDRE AMONG NATIONAL ELITE
Kedre Luschar is having a senior season for the ages. Recently named a USA Softball Player of the Year Top 25 finalist, Luschar is third in the Big Ten and eighth nationally with a .467 average. She's also ranked among the Big Ten's Top 11 in hits (second), stolen bases (fourth), triples (third), doubles (10th), RBI (11th) and On-Base Pct. (.503).
