Ksenija Tomic was named to the 2025 VNL roster for Serbia.
EUGENE, Ore. – Oregon volleyball head coach Trent Kersten has added standout outside hitter Ksenija Tomic to the Ducks' roster. The Belgrade, Serbia, native is the program's second newcomer, along with future UO teammate Maria Tabacuks (Germany), to earn a VNL roster spot for her home country.
"Ksenija is a dynamic and skilled outside hitter who brings a wealth of international experience and a fearless mindset to our program," Kersten said. "She's played at a high level with Serbia's national team and has a great understanding of the game. Her ability to score, pass and defend consistently makes her a true six-rotation threat. We're thrilled to welcome Ksenija to Oregon and can't wait to see the impact she makes."

Tomic was recently named best outside hitter of the 2024-25 Serbian Super League regular season. Her list of individual awards also includes being named MVP and best outside hitter of the 2023 Balkan U21 Championships where she led her team to a gold medal.
In recognition of her standout play, Tomic was named to Serbia's Volleyball Nations League (VNL) roster for the upcoming summer. Tomic is a three-time medalist within the Team Serbia program including two silver medals—U19 and U23 European Championships—and a bronze at the U17 European tournament.
Tomic becomes the 11th newcomer added to the Oregon roster by Kersten and his staff, a group already featuring Tabacuks, Marlee Arrington, Alanah Clemente, Orian Drore, Jillian McCarty, Holley McFadden, Sophia Meyers, Iva Sucurovic, Cora Taylor and Valentina Vaulet.
