Ducks Fall in Big Ten Tournament

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Oregon men's tennis fell 4-1 to Illinois today in the Big Ten Tournament.
Illinois got out to an early lead with a 6-3 win on court one and a 7-5 win on court three in doubles. Paris Pouatcha and Lachlan Robertson won 6-4 on court two.
In singles, the Illini built on their lead with a straight-set win on court five and a three-set win on court six. The Ducks then got one back from Vlad Breazu, who defeated Tyler Bowers 6-4, 7-6 (7-1).
Down 3-1, Oregon needed a rally. With Paris Pouatcha and Clement Lemire in third sets, Illinois clinched the match on court one.
