EUGENE, Ore. - The Oregon women's golf team will make its 17th consecutive NCAA Regional appearance after earning the No. 1 seed in the 2025 Gold Canyon Regional on Wednesday morning.
The Ducks - who are No. 5 in the national rankings and coming off a win at the Big Ten Championships - have a reached a NCAA Regional every year since 2008, excluding the 2019-20 season that was cut short by the COVID-19 pandemic. This will be the program's 29th all-time NCAA Regional appearance.
Hosted by Arizona State, the Gold Canyon Regional will be played at Superstition Mountain Golf and Country Club beginning on Monday, May 5, and concluding on Wednesday, May 7. "We are very excited about the opportunity to head to Gold Canyon for the NCAA Regional round," head coach Derek Radley said. "It's been a really fun season for our team and earning the top seed at a regional is a testament to all of the hard work our ladies have put in and everything they have accomplished. We're looking forward to getting out to Arizona with an opportunity to punch our ticket to the NCAA Championships."

Romero became the third Duck ever to win an individual conference title, joining Hsin-Yu Lu (2022) and Caroline Inglis (2015).
Romero is one of three Ducks in the top 30 of the individual national rankings, along with freshman Suvichaya Vinijchaitham (No. 25) and sophomore Karen Tsuru (No. 29). All three players have won a tournament this season, marking the first time in program history Oregon has had three different individual champions in the same year.
