Week on the Road Begins at Portland

The Ducks will travel to Pepperdine after Wednesday’s dual.
EUGENE, Ore. – The Oregon beach volleyball team is on the road for a midweek dual against Portland this Wednesday in the Rose City. First serve is scheduled for 12 p.m. on the Names Family Foundation Courts located on Portland's Franz River Campus.
Wednesday's dual will mark the third meeting between Oregon and Portland this season, both sweeps by the Ducks including a 5-0 victory (April 5) in Eugene. Oregon has won its last 18 matches against the Pilots and owns a 19-3 advantage in the all-time series.
The Ducks' week will continue at the Pepperdine Dual Days (April 18-19) in Malibu, Calif., against Hope International and host Pepperdine, marking the first-ever meetings against this weekend's opponents.

Oregon enters the final week of the regular season with a 5-16 record. At last weekend's Husky Invite, the Ducks were within a point of the program's second win over a ranked opponent before eventually falling to then-No. 19 FIU, 3-2. The team got points in three-set wins at No. 1 and 4 pairs.
With that result at the top spot playing alongside Bella Gamache, senior Ella Tyus won her 40th career match. She became just the third player in program history to hit that milestone. Tyus joins UO leader Bea Wetton (45 wins) and Ashley Schroeder (43) on that exclusive list.
