Men’s Golf Ties for Ninth at The Goodwin

STANFORD, Calif. – The Oregon men's golf team played their fifth round in the last six days on Saturday, shooting a 2-over 282 in the final round at The Goodwin.
The Ducks totaled a 9-over 849 over three days at Stanford Golf Course, finishing tied for ninth in the 30-team field. UCLA won the team title at 11 under.
Greyson Leach put together the Ducks' best round of the day, moving 52 spots up the leaderboard in the final round thanks to a 4-under 66. Eric Doyle finished with a 1-over 71, and his even-par total for the weekend was good enough to tie for 16th individually.
How It Happened
Leach fired a 1-under front nine thanks to two birdies and a bogey in his first nine after teeing off on No. 10. The senior was even more dialed in his second nine, carding a 3-under 32. His six birdies on the day were the most among the Ducks. Leach's three round total of 213 (+3) was good enough to tie for 34th.
Doyle carded five birdies in his third round, three of which came in his 1-under back nine, but finished 1 over on the day thanks to four bogeys and a double bogey. The senior led the Ducks for the weekend, finishing tied for 16th with an even-par 210.
Aiden Krafft carded 16 pars and a pair of bogeys for a 2-over 72, finishing the week six over, while Gabriel Hari rounded out the Ducks' counting scores with a 3-over 73, his best round of the tournament. Ramil Saelim tallied a 6-over 76 in the final round, finishing tied with Leach in 34th at 3 over.
