Breazu, Robertson Advance to Regional Quarterfinals

STOCKTON, Calif. – Oregon men's tennis players picked up a number of wins at the ITA Northwest Regional on Saturday. Four Ducks made the round of 16 and two advanced to the quarterfinals.

In doubles, Vlad Breazu and Pierre Mouesca earned their spot in the quarterfinals with an 8-5 win over a pair from Saint Mary's. The quarterfinal will take place at 8:30 a.m. PT Sunday.

Pierre Mouesca, Lachlan Robertson, Will Semler and Vlad Breazu all picked up wins in the first matches on Saturday to advance to the round of 16. Later in the afternoon, Breazu and Robertson advanced to the quarterfinals after their second wins of the day. They are back in action at 10:45 a.m. Sunday for a chance to make the semifinals.
