
Men's Tennis Hangs on for 4-3 Win Over Indiana

EUGENE, Ore. — The Oregon Ducks edged the Indiana Hoosiers 4-3 on Friday, using a strong doubles performance and three singles victories to secure the dual match at home.
No. 45 Oregon (11-3) claimed the doubles point to open the match. The pair of Matthew Burton and Pierre Mouesca defeated Indiana's Sam Landau and Jip van Assendelft 6-1 on court one, while Cameron Burton and Lachlan Robertson added a 6-4 win over Braeden Gelletich and Facundo Yunis on court three to clinch the point. The match on court two went unfinished with Oregon leading 5-3.
The Ducks then took a 3-1 lead, but Indiana fought back to tie things up at 3-3. Vlad Breazu gave Oregon a quick boost with a 6-1, 6-2 win over van Assendelft at the No. 1 position. Matthew Burton followed with a 6-2, 6-2 victory against Gelletich on court four. Indiana (6-6) earned its points with singles wins from Yunis at No. 2, Michael Andre at No. 3 and Aryan Badlani at No. 6.
Robertson delivered the deciding point for Oregon at No. 5 singles, defeating Aidan Atwood 6-2, 4-6, 6-2 to keep Oregon unbeaten at home.
