Sam Olszakowski Earns Big Ten Freshman of the Week

EUGENE, Ore. – Oregon men's tennis freshman Sam Olszakowski was named Big Ten Freshman of the Week on Wednesday.

Olszakowski teamed with Matthew Burton to advance to the semifinals of the Milwaukee Tennis Classic last weekend, picking up wins against teams from Indiana and Northwestern. In singles, Olszakowski won two matches over individuals from TCU and Wisconsin, before falling to Juan David Velasquez (Purdue) in three sets.
