Ducks Defeat Utes in Salt Lake City

SALT LAKE CITY – Oregon men's tennis picked up their first conference road win of the season on Sunday, in a 4-1 win over Utah.
The Ducks' No. 1 doubles team Quinn Vandecasteele and Matthew Burton got things started for the Ducks, picking up a 6-2 win on court one. Avi Shugar and Lachlan Robertson then secured the doubles point for Oregon on court three, defeating the Utes' No. 3 pair 6-3.
Utah gained momentum at the start of singles, after a win on court four. The Ducks roared back, securing the next three points in a row. Vandecasteele won in straight sets, 6-4, 6-4 on court one, followed by Burton with the same result on court three. Just a point from victory, the win came from Lenn Leumkemann, who outlasted Gianluca Citandini on court five, 3-6, 6-3, 6-3.
