EUGENE, Ore. – The Oregon women's tennis team begins a four-match homestand this weekend, hosting a pair of matches at the Student Tennis Center, first facing Eastern Washington Friday at 12 p.m. and finishing the weekend against Saint Mary's on Sunday at 11 a.m.

The Ducks return home after a trip to the ITA Kickoff Weekend, hosted by the nation's No. 1 team North Carolina. While in Chapel Hill, Oregon fell 4-0 to the defending national champion Tar Heels before dropping a tightly contested battle to Charlotte, 4-2.
Oregon has clinched the doubles point in two of its three matches this season, including in the Ducks' last match against Charlotte, with four different pairing winning a match. UO junior Karin Young has won when paired with both redshirt sophomore Olivia Symons and freshman Candela Aparisi.
Young is 1-0 in singles play while Martinez Moral has two singles wins after picking up a won at the fifth spot against the 49ers last weekend.
Oregon is 13-0 all-time against Eastern Washington, last facing the Eagles in 2021, and is 6-2 in its history against Saint Mary's. The Ducks defeated the Gaels 5-2 a season ago and have won two straight in the series.
