
Ducks Toe the #NCAAXC Line in Wisconsin

The women's 6K goes off at 7:20 a.m. PT on ESPNU followed by the men's 10K at 8:10 a.m.
MADISON, Wis. – The 2024 cross country season comes to a head Saturday morning when the Ducks take on the nation's best at the NCAA Championships in Madison, Wis. The women's 6K starts at 7:20 a.m. (PT) followed by the men's 10K at 8:10 a.m.
The ESPNU broadcast begins at 6:30 a.m. (PT), live from the Thomas Zimmer Championship Course.
The second-ranked UO women and No. 15 UO men both earned automatic berths into the meet with their respective first-place and runner-up finishes at last week's NCAA west regional in Colfax, Wash.

The Oregon women backed up their Big Ten title with their 12th regional crown, paced by top-10 efforts from Silan Ayyildiz, Maddy Elmore and Anika Thompson. Additional all-region honors—top 25—went to Klaudia Kazimierska and Ali Ince. On the men's side, the Ducks collected four all-region certificates with Aiden Smith, Simeon Birnbaum, Elliott Cook and Quincy Norman. The Oregon men moved from third to second over the final 1,000 to secure their auto qualifier.
On the Biggest Stage
The Men and Women of Oregon have combined for 10 NCAA cross country team titles and the UO men have won eight individual titles with two three-time national champions in Steve Prefontaine (1970-71, '73) and Edward Cheserek (2013-15). The UO women have an individual high-place of second at NCAAs, a feat accomplished by Leann Warren in 1981.
