Acrobatics and Tumbling Releases 2025 Schedule
10/18/24 | Acrobatics & Tumbling
EUGENE, Ore. – The National Collegiate Acrobatics & Tumbling Association (NCATA) has announced the full 2025 season schedule, with Oregon's slate consisting of seven regular season meets and four contests at home.
"'If it was easy, everyone would be doing it, and you wouldn't have an opportunity' – that's the motto for us," Oregon head coach Taylor Susnara said. "We have a tough schedule with talented programs but we'll be ready. The team is eager and excited, and we're looking forward to showcasing some never-been-done-before skill sets in the Acro and Pyramid events. I'm excited to see big crowds at Matthew Knight Arena this season."
The Ducks' first four meets of the 2025 campaign will all be held in the friendly confines of MKA. The season officially gets underway on Feb. 15, when Oregon plays host to Morgan State for the first time in program history. UO will then turn its attention to Feb. 22, when Baylor, last season's national champion and winner of nine-consecutive NCATA titles, comes to Eugene.
Oregon will face another new opponent when Gannon makes the trip to Eugene on March 7. The home portion of the schedule wraps up with a rematch of last season's NCATA Quarterfinal, as Oregon and Mary Hardin-Baylor square off at MKA on March 14. The Ducks came out on top a season ago in the first-ever matchup between the two squads, defeating the Division III champions, 262.745-259.655.
The Ducks then hit the road for the final three meets of the season, starting with their first trip to Quinnipiac since the 2022 season on March 23. Oregon will stay on the east coast for another inaugural matchup when the Ducks take on Iona on March 28. UO will then travel to Waco, Texas, on April 5 for a rematch with Baylor.
This season's NCATA National Championships will be held at Augustana University in Sioux Falls, S.D., from April 24-27. The National Championship will be held on Saturday with National Event Finals taking place on Sunday.
Last season, the Ducks finished 4-4 in Susnara's third year at the helm of the program, with all four wins coming against top-10 teams. Oregon reached at least the NCATA semifinals for the second season in a row and claimed four event titles in 2024, winning the open toss and duo, trio and quad tumbling pass titles.
Tickets for the upcoming season will be made available for purchase in early 2025.
