No. 7 Ducks Host Utah, Colorado at MKA

EUGENE, Ore. – Now into the final month of the regular season, the No. 7 Oregon volleyball team hosts Utah and Colorado this weekend at Matthew Knight Arena. The Ducks' weekend begins Friday at 6 p.m. against the Utes. The match will also be the program's 200^th under head coach Matt Ulmer.

Series History vs Utah
Including their four-set win in Salt Lake City earlier this season (Oct. 8), the Ducks own a 19-10 advantage in the all-time series. Oregon has won the past three matches against Utah, all in four sets. The Ducks have also won seven of 10 played at Matthew Knight Arena.

Series History vs Colorado
Oregon swept Colorado in the first meeting this season (Oct. 6) to extend its series lead to 20-7. The Ducks have won eight of the past 10 matchups against the Buffaloes and are 10-4 on their home floor. Oregon is on a seven-match winning streak against Colorado.

In the Polls
The Ducks check in at No. 7 in the latest AVCA poll (Oct. 30) to match their ranking in the most recent RPI release. In the second NCAA Committee top-10 reveal, Oregon was up a spot to sixth. The 2023 NCAA Selection Show is scheduled for Nov. 26 at 3 p.m. (PT) on ESPNU.

Last Time Out
The then-No. 9 Oregon volleyball team swept Washington (25-20, 25-22, 25-15) in Seattle in front of an ESPN audience. The Ducks generated a season-high .442 hitting percentage, and coupled with their win at Washington State, the win secured the program's first sweep of the UW/WSU road trip since 2016.

Killing It
Entering the home weekend, Oregon is second in the Pac-12 and 10th in the NCAA with 14.06 kills per set. The Ducks tallied 47 kills in the three-set win at Washington, the team's sixth of the season with at least 45 kills in a sweep. Collectively, UO is 12th in the NCAA with a .286 hitting percentage.

Milestone Watch
Senior setter Hannah Pukis enters Friday's match with 4,905 career assists, a figure that ranks second on the NCAA active leaders list. The Tacoma, Wash., native is currently seventh in the NCAA at 11.10 assists per set this season. Pukis trails only Savannah Vach of Miami (FL) (4,914 assists) on the active list.

Stat Pack
With 15 kills in the Ducks' straight-set win at Washington (Oct. 29), senior opposite Morgan Lewis reached double figures for the eighth time this season. She hit .652 against the Huskies with no attack errors in 23 swings. It was Lewis' third effort of the year with 10+ kills coupled with one or few attack errors.

Building Blocks
Senior Karson Bacon recorded a career-high 10 blocks in the Ducks' four-set win at No. 6 Washington State (Oct. 27). It replaced her previous best of nine blocks in 2019, also against WSU. The UO middle also put away eight kills in the win. Bacon leads the Pac-12 with 1.43 blocks per set.

Up!
Seniors Georgia Murphy (3.45) and Hannah Pukis (3.04) enter the weekend as the only Pac-12 teammates averaging at least 3.00 digs per set. Murphy, the UO libero, is scooping 3.83 digs per set during conference play and Pukis has 10 or more digs in 16 matches this season.

Coupled with this weekend's slate, the Ducks have three home matches remaining. Oregon's Senior Day is scheduled for Tuesday, Nov. 21, against USC.
