Mould Wins Deciding Match to Beat Northern Arizona, 4-3

EUGENE, Ore. - A tough competition in Eugene ended in a deciding match between Oregon's Lillian Mould and NAU's Adrianna Sosnowska. Mould ultimately came out on top to earn an Oregon victory, beating Northern Arizona, 4-3, on Saturday.
How it Happened: The Ducks started the day off strong in doubles play. The Oregon duo of Myah Petchey and Uxia Martinez Moral won, 6-4, following a win from Rifanty Kahfiani and Madisen Olsen, 6-3, to claim the doubles point for the Ducks.
Singles play began and the Ducks fell behind as Northern Arizona put up two points on the board to take a one-point lead. Petchey put another point on the board for the Ducks with her eighth singles win of the spring season.
Northern Arizona responded with a win to take the lead once again. Oregon's Julia Eshet battled her way back from starting off behind in the first set to winning both set one and two to claim another Oregon point.
Oregon's Mould and NAU's Sosnowska were then left to battle it out in the deciding match. Mould lost the first set, but showed resilience and strength coming back from a set one loss to winning a set two tiebreaker. The match went into set three and Mould came out with the win (6-3) to secure the Oregon victory.
