Ducks Rebound in Win Over Seton Hall

OMAHA, Neb. – Eugene Omoruyi scored 22 points and newcomer LJ Figueroa led a robust rebounding effort with nine as No. 21 Oregon defeated Seton Hall 83-70 on Friday at CHI Health Center Omaha.
How it Happened: Head coach Dana Altman was disappointed at Oregon's poor rebounding effort in Wednesday's season-opening loss to Missouri.

Friday, the Ducks outrebounded the Pirates by 16, 38-22, and had 14 second-chance points to Seton Hall's three in evening their record at 1-1.
Oregon took a 34-28 into halftime. Omoruyi led the way with 12 points.
Two nights after the Ducks were minus-seven on the boards against Missouri, Oregon was plus-eight in rebounds (21-13) on Friday. N'Faly Dante, Chris Duarte, Chandler Lawson and Figueroa all had four rebounds in the opening frame.
The Ducks took an early 15-6 lead on Jalen Terry's first career three-pointer with 11:46 left in the first half.
Who Stood Out: Omoruyi followed up his career-high 31 points two nights earlier with 22 on Friday. For the weekend he shot 55.6 percent from the field (20-36).
Eric Williams Jr. scored 15 points with six rebounds while Duarte added 14 and five. Figueroa, who was declared eligible by the NCAA on Thursday, also had four steals.
