Run Ends in Semis for Doubles Duo

STANFORD, Calif. – After knocking off a pair of seeded teams in the round of 16 and quarterfinals, Rifanty Kahfiani and Allison Mulville had their run end Monday in the semifinals of the doubles draw at ITA Regionals.
How it Happened: Kahfiani and Mulville got out to a fast start, taking the opening set, 6-3, against Washington's Sedona Gallagher and Katarina Kopcalic. The pair dropped the next set, 6-1, before falling 10-4 in the tiebreaker set.
Kahfiani and Mulville beat the No. 3 seeded pair in yesterday's round of 16 before topping the No. 9 seeded duo to advance to today's semifinal match. This is the third straight year that a Ducks doubles pair has advanced to at least the semifinals of ITA Regionals.
