Notes: Long Beach State snapped a five game losing streak with a win over Idaho, 70-63, on Nov. 24. The 49ers play at Montana State on Friday night before heading to Eugene. Shanaijah Davison is averaging a team-high 16.3 ppg. Naomi Hunt has made a team-high 15 three-pointers and is averaging 12.0 ppg. The 49ers have 59 steals in six games this year.

The No. 3 ranked Ducks pulled off a thrilling comeback win over No. 18 Syracuse on Nov. 10 at Matthew Knight Arena. Down six points with just over two minutes left to play, the Ducks hit back-to-back-to-back three-pointers (two by Sabrina Ionescu and one from Erin Boley) to take a 70-67 lead. Oregon hit its free throws down the stretch to hold on for a 75-73 win over the Orange.

ESPNW PRESEASON PLAYER OF THE YEAR
Sabrina Ionescu was chosen as ESPNW's preseason national player of the year. The junior already has an NCAA record 11 triple-doubles in her career and is coming off a season in which she claimed the Nancy Lieberman Award (national PG of the year), unanimous first team All-America honors, the Pac-12 player of the year and the Pac-12 Tournament MVP.

ESPNW PRESEASON TOP-25 PLAYERS
In ESPNW's preseason list of the top-25 players in the NCAA this season, both Ruthy Hebard and Sabrina Ionescu were ranked. Ionescu was picked No. 1 as ESPNW's preseason player of the year. Hebard was picked No. 10.

PRESEASON WATCH LISTS
- Both Sabrina Ionescu and Ruthy Hebard were named to the preseason Wade Trophy watch list on Nov. 20, 2018.
- Sabrina Ionescu and Ruthy Hebard were both named to the preseason Wooden Award watch list on Nov. 6. The list includes 30 players.
- Of the 50 players named to the Naismith Trophy Watch List, three were Ducks. Sabrina Ionescu, Ruthy Hebard and Satou Sabally were all selected to the watch list for the Atlanta Tipoff Club's national player of the year honor. Only Notre Dame (5) and UConn (4) have more players on the list.
- After winning the award a season ago as a sophomore, Sabrina Ionescu has been named to the Nancy Lieberman Award watch list for her junior season. The award is annually presented to the top point guard in the country.
- A year after being named the Pac-12 freshman of the year, sophomore Satou Sabally has been named to the watch list for the Cheryl Miller Award, given annually to the nation's top small forward.
- A year after winning the inaugural Katrina McClain Award for the nation's top power forward, Ruthy Hebard is on the watch list again this season.
